My role was established , to maintain the competency of my own developers and also the overall management of G.T.R Southerns competency management system.I have to communicate with a range of areas within the industry to ensure standards and best practice is being applied at all times.I have a responsibility to develop risk reduction strategy's to help drive down the incident rates within our part of the railway.I hold train train driving competence on a number of EMU, DMU and Locomotive rolling stock.
