Our service will be laser focused on aiding public companies with improving their communications to the investment community, which will include recommendations regarding whether to conduct strategic perception study research amongst the investment community, executive management teams as well as boards of directors to uncover as well as compare their viewpoints. To confirm, strategic perception study research will crystallize the concerns public companies face when communicating their strategic plan to the investment community as well as develop actionable communications steps to offset those concerns.After more than 20 years at a leading firm heading up north of six hundred strategic perception studies along with presenting the results with recommendations to executive management teams and boards of directors from small to mega-cap public companies, I am uniquely qualified to provide public companies with that objective, unbiased, 3rd party assessment during their initial perception study decision process to help them answer the following questions as well as many more:Why and when should we conduct a strategic perception study?What are our actionable goals?Who should we interview and why?What should our expectations be?What questions should we ask as well as how should the questions be structured to not bias the results?What firm(s) should we interview and eventually hire?In addition, if needed, I can serve as the company’s internal perception study project manager to guide the project and can also supply my actionable insights once the final study findings have been generated to the executive management team as well as the board.Steve was a part of the Rivel team from 2001 to 2021 and was formerly an Executive Vice President at Rivel. He retired from Rivel in June 2021. Steve drove growth and expansion of Rivel’s research offerings. In this role, he provided clients with strategic consultative insight, which was based on factual data, to help them understand what drives investment community perceptions, and more importantly, how to approach investors with key communication strategies to improve their valuation.Steve’s knowledge of multiple sectors, honed over the last 20+ years with Rivel, positioned him well to advise clients on best practices for communicating their story to positively resonate with the investment community in an everchanging environment.
