I curate and create unique cultural events, music and rare stories.This has included the top-ten-rated Bureau of Lost Culture podcast, radio programmes for BBC, Soho Radio and Resonance FM, events for BFI, Hay Literary Festival, Tate Modern, Westminster Libraries, the Wellcome Collection and the monthly Salon for the City - now the longest-running London-focused cultural series.With Suzette Field of A Curious Invitation, I program culture and exhibitions at London's Century Club and the annual London Month of the Dead Festival, We have curated a wide variety of events for arts institutions including the V+A, London Eye, the National Trust, Royal Parks, Cafe Royal, London Business School and Merlin Entertainment.Increasingly interested in Soviet Culture I created the X-Ray Audio project with the support of Arts Council England to document the bootlegs of forbidden music made on x-ray film in Cold War era USSR. The project has now extended to two critically acclaimed books, an award-winning film, a major international touring exhibition, and a BBC radio documentary.I formed the London band The Real Tuesday Weld in 2000. Over ten albums with various record labels and numerous international tours, we have plowed an independent furrow working with filmmakers, animators, and visual artists. I have composed scores for five features, myriad documentaries, TV shows, shorts, animations, art installations and commercial spots for Amnesty International, Apple, Sony ATV, Universal Music, Tate Modern, Rockstar Games, Showtime and the BBC. I remix/write for several other artists and create library music for EMI, Velvet Ears, Extreme and BMG.Antique Beat, the arts company I co-founded in 2006 publishes music including the work of Soviet composer Mikael Tariverdiev.I am a director of Universal Hall Theatre in Findhorn Scotland.
