This has been in response to a number of state wide strategic planning initiatives namely the Plan Melbourne and the Regional Growth Plans. Working with a small team I have developed concepts, models and high level cost estimates associated with the expansion of Melbourne’s metropolitan bus network. My other duties include assessing and responding to a variety of road use and transport policy documents and disseminating information to the bus operators in order to promote change and industry development. In my role at the GAA, I was principally responsible for the preparation and delivery of Precinct Structure Plans (PSP) for Melbourne’s growth areas. During this time I managed significant and detailed stakeholder negotiations which were necessary to achieve whole of government and industry support for the structure plans.
