• Ensuring Quality & Safety Management System are kept up to date, meet the requirements of the relevant standards and are a true reflection of the company's actual practices;• Developing and assisting with the implementation of Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, Safe Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments & Records related to ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001;• Preparing, carrying out, reporting and following up on scheduled internal audits;• Analysing Quality & Safety Management Systems data and presenting this to Management on a regular basis;• Performing Baseline & Issue Based Risk Assessments pertaining to client industry and requirements;• Assist in 2nd or 3rd party audits and answering any queries with regards to the Quality & Safety Management System;• Carrying out any other duties detailed in the company's Quality & Safety Management Systems;• Liaising with Certification Bodies on all matters relevant to certification & surveillance audits;• Ensuring the company is continually improving their Quality Management System;• Ensuring the Company remain adherent towards Safety Legislation and compliant towards local standards;• Ensuring Document Control is carried out accordingly• Assisting Appointed staff members with applicable duties pertaining to the companies management systems;• Chairing Safety Committee Meetings and advising customers accordingly;• Performing Internal Audits against the required standard;• Performing Supplier Assessments on Clients Supplier List and reporting accordingly;• Conducting regular Toolbox talks on subjects related to the customers product or service;

The position I held there was Apprentice Carpenter & Joiner, my duties consisted of the following; The preparation of raw timber for machining. Operating various types of large woodwork machinery, namely cross cut saws, band saws, moulding machines and planers. Pre-cutting / preparing the finished sections for assembly and manufacture. Assembly of windows and doors, dipping these in wood treatment before being sent to final assembly. Final Assembly and glazing of windows along with the attachment of fittings (handles, locks, etc). Site installation of the above mentioned products, along with various other carpentry duties, erection of partitions, building and repairs of roofs, building and repairs of staircases.
