• Developed global training curriculums and endorsement strategies for new products and technology launches for both the internal sales organization as well as for external audiences that resulted in maximizing product sales potential. • Contributed to multiple global business line management teams to develop multiple innovative global learning curriculums. Examples include a global seed learning curriculum, multiple new active ingredients (Arylex and Optinyte) global curriculums and coordinated the relevant endorsement strategies which included global branding initiatives.

• Directed the US Mycogen Seeds Commercial team which included 10 District Sales Managers, 6 Regional Account Managers and a sales organization of over 120 Sales Representatives. • Sales management strategy development and implementation through a retailer and farmer-dealer business distribution with over $300MM of annual sales.• Developed and implemented a workforce sales expansion project and grower focus distribution strategies which increased the Mycogen Sales organization by 3 new sales districts aligned with investments in seeds R&D and operations.

• Developed and implemented the priorities of the commercial agronomy and nutritional departments. • Coordinated the activities of 15 district agronomists of the Agronomy Services team and 6 Sales Nutritionists.• Led the development of strategies and implemented the development of product technical information and training for sales representatives, dealers and growers that was consistent with US Seeds marketing strategies.

• Managed the corn product line management strategy and portfolio goals for the Mycogen grain corn hybrid seed line-up including the development of the annual crop plan for each fiscal year. Successfully integrated the joint corn product line-up of Mycogen Seeds and Cargill Hybrid Seeds post-acquisition.• Directed the development and implementation of tactical annual marketing plans, which included establishing price, monitoring business results, forecasting future sales and contribution expectations and accountability for the portfolio P&L. • Initiated and directed negotiations concerning the product lines with various supplier and channel partner companies (Monsanto, BASF, UAP, etc.) to access genetics, traits, and seed treatments to achieve short- and long-term financial goals.• Participated on the project launch team that developed and introduced the early products of agricultural biotechnology including NatureGard™ Bt, Herculex™ and Herculex™ Extra.

• Planned and conducted an agronomic program for farmers which was supportive of the regional sales strategies and product sales goals in the states of OH, PA, DE, MD, VA, NJ.• Demonstrated seed product adaptation and performance through trials, training sessions and field tours.• Coordinated and conducted agronomic and product training for local sales organizations and farmers.
