Lead Teller
As a Lead Teller, my responsibility is to assist my Service Manager in the day to day operations of our branch. I effectively perform daily teller tasks which include but not limited to: cash balancing, maintaining proper cash requirements, and reaching my sales goals for each day. Working in a management position for a financial institution, it is especially important that our branch runs at the highest standard of compliance. More importantly, it is my responsibility to ensure that each of my teller’s is following the proper policies and procedures that Wells Fargo has set in place. I am able to ensure this by performing daily observations and performance coaching with my tellers. It is my responsibility to show each teller, as a risk manager, the importance of following these policies and procedures. This preparation and preparedness has allowed our store to operate effective each day and pass our yearly audit. In January 2013, I effectively took the lead in creating an action plan for improving our sales quality scores to acceptable levels on the monthly Sales Quality Report. Since creating this plan, our branch has reached its goals proving that my plan is effective. This action plan is now being implemented district wide in order to improve the sales quality scores in the other Wells Fargo stores. It is my work ethic and ability to be a leader that has made me successful at my position at Wells Fargo.
Safety Watcher (Contractor For Public Service Electric & Gas)
As a safety contractor, I managed and maintained all OSHA regulations on Public Service Electric & Gas substations and switch yards. My main responsibility was to manage risk and ensure the proper procedures were followed by all contractors on sites. While working in high voltage yards (up to and including 500kv), I successfully managed a large work force in a high risk environment. My job was judged based on how well I was able to avoid safety violations and incidents, which never occurred on any of my work sites. In such an occupation, my ability to avoid the unforeseen events helped me succeed. When a situation arose that I deemed as high risk, I had the ability to stop all work on site until the said contractor’s understood the risks they were creating.
Intern
As an intern, my first and most important responsibility was to uphold Congressman Frank Pallone’s reputation during my work hours as well as off. When I worked with constituents, the most important aspect of my job was to maintain confidentiality with each and every person. My daily duties required me to research and analyze a variety of constituent cases while acting as a liaison with a number of government agencies, mainly the Citizenship and Immigration Services. I assisted the staff at the district office with drafting memos and statements for official use. I showed computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and the congressional database that I used daily.
