I am an Orthotist/Prosthetist with Level 4 O & P. I evaluate the individual needs of patients for the provision of the most appropriate orthotic or prosthetic device to meet their individual needs. The basis for their device begins with an RX from their physician. Along with this prescription and any notes I may receive from other allied health professionals working with the patient, I determine what their strengths and weaknesses are to determine the design of the orthosis or prosthesis. At Level 4 O & P in Winston Salem, NC, I largely serve a pediatric population of patients, however I am able to meet the needs of all age groups that I serve.

I served as an Orthotist/Prosthetist with Virginia Prosthetics, Inc from June 1995 to August 2009. I evaluated patients for the provision of the most appropriate orthotic or prosthetic device to meet their individual needs. The basis for their device began with an RX from their physician. Along with this prescription and any notes I received from other allied health professionals working with the patient, I determined what their strengths and weaknesses were to determine the design of the orthosis or prosthesis. I served adult and pediatric patient populations with greater patient percentages being adult. I served in the Martinsville, VA Office from 2000 to 2009 as the primary practitioner for this office. I saw patients in the office, hospitals, nursing homes and out-patient therapy clinics.
