I have been providing orthotic and prosthetic services to patients since 1993. I love what I do for a living! I receive a great sense of pride and excitement when I am able to provide a device to them that will help to compliment or replace a body segment that they have weakness in or missing. To see the individual be able to regain some, if not all, of their independence in performing their daily activities puts a smile on my face every time. My passion is working with kids as they are completely honest about telling you exactly how the device you just provided them feels and functions for them. To see a child who has been unable to stand and/or walk stand up and walk for the first time in a device that you just fit on them, is priceless. I never grow weary of seeing the joy on a child's face when they are able to "just be a kid" and play with their friends without feeling left out!
