I have been involved in medical Cannabis since 1996 after loosing a family member to HIV. I began by simply voicing my opinion on the matter with friends and family. In 2008 I began working with small growers in the Oakland,Bay Area of California learning the aspects of cultivation and processing. In 2012 Massachusetts passed question 3 and began implementing a medical program. It was at this time while working with seniors new to cannabis that Healthy Headie Lifestyle took shape. My partner and I quickly realized this would be needed in each state as they opened up to medical Cannabis. Many patients looking to utilize Cannabis had little or no knowledge about the safe and effective ways to consume it and a majority of these people did not want to smoke it. In 2015 Healthy Headie was chosen by Canopy Boulder, at the time the only Cannabis Startup Incubator in the country. With the help of Canopy Healthy Headie was able to raise capital and expand in multiple states and was tagged "the Mark Kay of Mary J and was featured Nationally by CBS News and the Huffington Post .I have also managed sales and operations for Gold Drop, an award winning extraction company based in Oakland California. Gold drop is available across California.Prior to my full-time entry in to the industry I was member of District council 35 IUPAT Boston MA, and was at the top of the class as apprentice of the year in 2003 and promoted to Project Management at the age of 22. At times I was in charge of managing 50-80 employees and multiple projects both public and private for large commercial contractor. I Have lead teams on high profile projects with contractors such as Shawmut,Turner, Consigly, and Walsh Brothers and clients including Proctor & Gamble, Apple, and Novartis.
