Resilient, driven and motivated to succeed having worked within numerous Security platforms.As the Security Operations Manager I am required to contribute to the general security and safety of all Employees, Infrastructure and Assets across the estate; responsible not only for maintaining the good name and reputation of Marshall, but also for contributing to ensuring and overseeing compliance with any applicable legislative or regulatory requirements through the delivery of core security functions. To deliver a safe, efficient and sustainable Security environment in order to meet the needs of MADG, it's business partners and customers to include Compliance management, Fire Safety, Health and Safety management, Emergency response management Complete Investigations as directed by MADG Senior team in line with Operational requirement To ensure that all aspects of physical site security that affect the Company are fully addressed and formally reported on in line with legislation and CAA regulatory guidelines. To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the manned guarding element of the Security department and to ensure that all subordinate Security Officers act in a responsible and professional manner at all times. Develop and maintain Security Policies and Procedures and ensure that all staff adhere to these requirements. Protection of Company assets and equipment, including conducting any investigations into any loss/theft/fraud that occurs within the business. Develop and maintain a programme of continual professional development training and associated training records for all subordinate Security Officers whilst maintaining close Liaison with external security agencies

Key Accountabilities:• Demonstrates an understanding of the vision, values, goals and key objectives of the organisation.• Manage large scale incidents I.e. Hostage, Concerted Indiscipline, and Prisoners at height to bring them to a timely and safe conclusion.• Approve reliable surrender and intervention plans to assist in the conclusion of incidents within the prison.• Ensure a full hot debrief is conducted and documented following any incidents providing learning and support for all involved.• Manage staff attendance and absence utilising KRONOS, ensuring sufficient staff area detailed on a daily basis to appropriately manage the identified functions to agreed standards.• Monitor the performance of staff and complete their annual appraisals.• Co-ordinate the incident reporting procedures and ensure all incidents are correctly documented and reported to the national Incidents Operations Unit.• Manage and effectively reduce the risk of violent offenders, prisoners at risk of deliberate self-harm, and those with mental health issues though effective deployment and utilisation of care maps, healthcare provisions, accredited and non-accredited interventions.• Complete internal investigations and report back to the Director.• Ensure physical and procedural security is maintained, preventing escape, breaches of security.• Demonstrates an understanding of the market environment in which our customers operate.• All aspects of physical security are securely managed and maintained.• Supports and promotes an inclusive environment that encourages effective team work
