Dell EMC Project Manager for Agile virtualisation migration workstreams for the NatWest group. Migrating clients away from legacy hosting, storage and switch infrastructure including both physical and virtual migrations. Headed up daily stand-up sessions with the migration team ‘squad’ to plan and deliver migrations to clear down all connections to the legacy Infrastructure and then decommission the infrastructure. Liaising with the NatWest Business application owners to obtain approvals for migration, scheduling these migrations from both a business and technical perspective to establish application shutdown and migration method for the Schedule of Events and resourcing all components and governance. Taking a lead role in the quarterly workshops to show the success of the last quarter and use interactive Kanban sessions with both Technical and Business contacts to determine our goals, dependencies, risks and issues for the next quarter. Produced promotional migration campaigns and topical social media posts including sustainability, highlighting the success of the programme’s work, increasing its exposure and enabling new opportunities.

Working with Dell Technologies as the vendor to assist the delivery new hosting platforms for core business areas across markets and retail banking. I supported the onboarding of 3 new businesses into the BBW domain. Identifying where existing hardware could be reused and reimaged and where new hardware was required. Once these new site requirements where evaluated, I would then set up the new offices, including the deployment of new/rebuilt laptops and desktops, set up access to BT OneNet, configure Cisco switches and Wireless Access points and finally migrate user shared storage to BBW servers.
