I currently work as a Field Archaeologist and Lithic Analyst at Stantec, across various pipeline projects in British Columbia. My work involves conducting Survey, Archaeological Impact Assessment (AIA), and Construction Monitoring. During the winter months, I focus on lithic analysis in our Burnaby lab. I hold a BA and MA in Archaeology with a focus on prehistoric archaeology, lithic analysis, and Viking and early medieval Ireland. My field experience comes from survey and excavations I took part in across Europe, in Ireland, Spain, Serbia, and Greece. During my Masters, I turned my focus to experimental archaeology, with a key focus on methods in archery and bow and arrow production. After university I worked for two years at Lofotr Viking Museum in Norway, demonstrating archery and bowmaking techniques, and began independently consulting for historic television documentaries, including a year-long collaboration with the National Geographic Network.In 2017, I moved to Vancouver, where I worked as an archery technician and consultant for TV shows like CW’s ARROW, The Flash, and Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, as a historic consultant, prop maker, on set safety, and assisting with stunt choreography.
