Responsibility for the architecture of settlement application systems. Involved in developing current and future state architectures, application and business risk assessments (including SWOT and PESTLE analyses), target operating models and roadmaps. Also provided design and architecture expertise on project to transition a major application (bmreports.com) onto a new technology platform.

Member of Design Authority team responsible for maintaining the integrity of the settlement trading arrangements. Particular highlights include:- secondment to DECC Smart Implementation Project, working on business process, communications and security design for rollout of Smart Meters across Great Britain- design, assurance and delivery of a number of service provider transitions, each worth several £m- acted as settlement representative and/or chairman on a range of governance and technical boards- developing internal IT systems for change and configuration management
