In this role, I primarily work in R&D to provide transformative, efficient and sustaining innovation at Ozmo. My team develops novel solutions to technical unknowns that allows us to strengthen and extend Ozmo’s position in the market.Some of my responsibilities are:- Collaborating with product management to prioritize business opportunities which are aligned with Ozmo’s product roadmap.- Ideate, experiment and demonstrate feasibility of potential solutions to unsolved technical problems.- Advocate for further investment in our technical research through technical briefs and prototyping.- Perform data collection and analysis to help guide our product strategy and roadmap.Some of the things I’ve done in this role:- Helped architect and implement a serverless ETL process to bolster our data volume and assist in our growing machine learning efforts.- Created a full-stack troubleshooting prototype using React, FastAPI and Graph Databases.- Developed several ML models to assist in domain specific Natural Language Understanding using spaCy and PyTorch.- Lent capacity to our core product team to assist them in implementing new, unit-tested, product features which involved working with Rails and React.I primarily work with Python and Javascript. For compute resources, we utilize AWS, so I am experienced in a wide variety of AWS services.I pride myself in being flexible to changing business needs which means I am constantly learning and working with new technologies.

As an Adjunct Instructor for the Upward Bound Programs at Virginia Tech, I taught a 6-week in-person Introduction to Computer Science course to high schoolers. I taught students from diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, using interactive lecture notes and project-based learning to enhance their experience.Some of my key responsibilities in this role included:- Designing and delivering an in-person Computer Science course, focusing on Python programming, and integrating competencies, goals, and exercises that fostered critical thinking skills and self-efficacy among students.- Leveraging Google Colaboratory and Google Classroom to create interactive lecture notes, adding depth to the learning experience for my students.- Collaborating actively with Upward Bound staff to ensure the successful achievement of program initiatives and objectives.- Crafting a comprehensive curriculum that recognized and adapted to the diverse backgrounds of the students served by the Upward Bound Program.- Assessing student performance regularly with a focus on learning progress and growth.I remain committed to nurturing a positive and inclusive educational environment, emphasizing personal and academic growth in the field of Computer Science.

As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Hume Center for National Security and Technology, I worked on the HackRFML (Radio Frequency Machine Learning) projects. My involvement included the exploration of Adversarial Machine Learning techniques within the RFML domain. I contributed to the project by focusing on making RFML systems more robust to white-box adversarial attacks, gaining valuable experience in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field.
