Energy Systems is a division of LotusWorks which provide maintenance services to the wind turbine industry. As Operations Manager I was responsible for the following:• Service contract and project management.• Client reporting on a periodic basis for wind farm contracts.• Liaising with wind farm operations on a daily basis.• Technical review of planned and unplanned work prior to releasing work orders.• Work with clients, procurement and technicians to ensure smooth running of operations• Management of sub-contractors.• Daily wind turbine remote monitoring of the various wind farms and identifying any issues that need to be addressed (Scada monitoring).• Review and approve end of month billing information for all sites.• Engineering stores and critical parts management.

As a Project Engineer at LotusWorks I am responsible for management and implementation of key engineering projects. My role also incorporates site lead responsibilities for LotusWorks staff onsite in MSD. My main duties include:• Responsible for the management and implementation of a divisionally validated computerized calibration management system (CCMS) within a GMP environment.• Responsible for calibration and maintenance optimization projects within a GMP environment.• Site change control owner for key projects onsite.• Presenting change controls proposals at the Change Review Board (CRB).• Review and updating of site level SOPs impacted by new business processes.• Development of new SOPs for new business processes.• Development, planning and execution of data migration from legacy software system to new software system (Procal – CCMS)• Development and delivery of instructor led training course. • Management and co-ordination of cross functional project support team.• Facilitation of weekly project review and reporting at site and above site level.• Site lead for LotusWorks staff contracted in MSD Carlow including responsibility for agreed key performance indicators (KPI’s) and quarterly reviews.• Trained and proficient in using software tools including Trackwise (Change Management), MIDAS (Document Management), SAP (Maintenance Management) and My Learning (Training Management).

As bid manager at LotusWorks I was responsible for the management, completion and submission of tenders and proposals for existing and new contracts. My main duties included:• Ensuring all proposals are competitive, high quality and deadlines are met.• Leading all day to day aspects of bids including co-ordination of bid team.• Interpretation of existing and prospective client requirements (RFI, EOI, RFP, RFT).• Compilation of pricing/cost models.• Liaising with internal and 3rd party service providers.• Reporting to senior management team/directors.• Client presentations and tender meetings.

LotusWorks set up a new venture in 2009 providing facilities management services to various industry sectors throughout Ireland and the UK. I was involved with Lotus Facilities Management from the start, providing support to senior management from initial inception, through tender preparation to operational support on new sustaining contracts.In early 2011, I took on a new role as Contract Manager for Lotus Facilities Management which involved the management and delivery of contracts in line with client service level agreements. I was also responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks and the management of reactive/project/subcontractor works. As part of my role I was responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and including internal quality, health & safety and environmental standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001).

Sligo

I took on a new role in early 2007 based in Sligo as an asset management engineer. The purpose of this asset management service is to improve the performance and availability of our clients production machines and ultimately reduce maintenance costs. This is an ongoing outsourced service which takes the responsibility of asset management information management, analysis and reporting to help clients turn asset management information into value for their operations. The back bone of this service is an enterprise asset management software tool called Pragma Onkey.My main responsibilities include management of this service from initial site assessment and proposal through to supply and installation of Pragma Onkey software and management of the sustaining service.

Sligo & Galway

Based initially Sligo, I was contracted onsite from May 2005 in the equipment build department in Boston Scientific, Galway. My main responsibilities included electrical wiring, maintenance, fault finding, control panel assembly, quality control and testing.From December 2005 I was contracted onsite in Medtronic, Galway were I worked in an engineering role as part of a large CE Marking project for production machines onsite. My main responsibilities included electrical design, autocad, material procurement, project management, quality control, technical file updates, liaising with health & safety and engineering departments.
