About Stephen Godfrey
I have been exclusively involved in the security industry for over 35 years. I have been involved in the design, installation, service and support of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Building Entry Systems, Nurse Call and the integration of all. I have personally conducted small, single site design/build jobs, large commercial/industrial/multi-residential projects and large national roll-outs involving thousands of sites. I have conducted the installation work myself and have held positions such as National Installation and Service Manager overseeing the Teams involved as well as Project Manager, Team Lead Estimator and currently the Director for the division.I hold an Electronic and Computer Technologist Certification, a valid Security Alarm Technical Qualification (BC) and an "LO" Class Electrical Qualification. I hold many certifications in access control product lines and CCTV product lines with extensive knowledge in intrusion alarm systems.My current role at Houle is as the Director for Security and Healthcare in the technologies division specializing in security and healthcare related systems. In addition I support and facilitate value-added coordination and linkages between divisional strategies. In carrying out this role, I am expected to exemplify the characteristics of leadership, teamwork, ethics, strategic vision, diplomacy, tact and candor.
