• Perform testing and balancing of new and existing HVAC airflow and hydronic systems.• Provide construction document review, pre-balance and construction inspection, duct pressure testing, balancing, commissioning, trouble-shooting and analytical services.• Responsible for on-the-job training and supervision of technicians and apprentices.• Responsible for managing the test and balance of new construction, tenant fit out, existing buildings, and building surveys.• Extensive experience with the design and operation of various types of air handling, VAV, exhaust, return air systems and hydronic system testing.• Broad experience with the design and operation of various types of chilled, heating and condenser water systems.• Extensive experience working with pneumatic and digital automatic temperature control / building management systems.• Proficient in GMP Lab set up with pressure cascade balancing.• Provide expert construction documents and mechanical submittal review.• Perform quality control review for HVAC designs.• Process RFIs and review Testing and Balancing reports.• Attend HVAC construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning meetings.• Preform test and balance report review and correction prior to report being certified.• Responsible for certifying test and balance reports prior to submitting to construction team.• Responsible for Scheduling field technicians.• Estimating new projects as requested by contractors and building owners.• Responsible for processing Test and Balance Reports for completed projects.
