Established in 1991, Stephen Gourley Ceramics began from an interest in art which was always a passion of mine. Beginning with intricate paintings, I gradually expanded my business restoring antique fireplaces as well as handmaking fireplace tiles. Handmaking ceramic tiles came to the fore front as I began crafting hand painted kitchen and floor tiles each being individually designed. While I still work with tiles, I have branched into bespoke kitchen and furniture manufacturing where I put my attention to shaker and traditional, free standing kitchens which are made to a high specification using solid wood. Using modern techniques and finishes, I can create various styles including vintage and chic.
