Direct Hospital Billing and Patient Access departments at Cambridge, Everett and Somerville Hospital and oversee inpatient and outpatient facility billing for CHA.

• Hire, manage and provide oversight to a team of 20+ staff members including billing and claiming managers, supervisors and clerical staff that are responsible for a wide variety of revenue cycle consulting and outsourced billing and claiming operations.• Plan, organize and control operations and monitor performance metrics with the goal of increasing client revenues, lower operating cost and improve operating efficiencies.• Direct the preparation and delivery of presentations and status reports to clients outlining overall financial results and operational improvements.• Develop business requirements and functional specifications for system development for a variety of projects that required system enhancements.• Oversee the preparation of training materials and provide training to client staff on new policy and procedures for new standardized operating models.• Review and approve policy and procedure documentation that supports day-to-day operations.• Lead team of consultants for new project implementation for outsourced revenue and financial management projects awarded to PCG.• Prepare and oversee project planning documents and tools to manage operations and new project initiatives.• Lead team of consultants to respond to Request for Proposals.

Responsible for leading the revenue cycle process for health care billing projects awarded to PCG.
