In my current role at Futures i manage a caseload of participant who are seeking employment but have long or short term barriers to over come, it is my duty to support them individually and tailor support for their needs to lead closer to employment. I work systems such as PowerBI and Microsoft programmes to complete tasks and work. my current caseload is 81,i use a Iconi to keep a track of all progress on each participant. Other duties are to support the Contract Manager with daily tasks and supporting the team. In my position i have targets and standards set by Futures and DWP i must follow.

Owning the business for 5 years, I had a range of responsibilities, including the day-to-day running of a busy tea room and gift shop, marketing the business to generate more income, managing social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to attract new customers, and running regular live events to interact and engage with a large following of people. Budgeting, managing finances and accounts to ensure the business was run correctly and efficiently, Managing and Recruitment Staff: I had 8 staff, and I managed team engagement, which was important within my business. I ran regular meetings to ensure all training and skills were given to the team to perform to a high standard. Working with local authorities, such as other businesses and the local council, and creating and maintaining good, strong relationships, this supports gaining new business contacts, generating leads to additional business and customers, merchandising of the gift shop, making it appealing to customers to buy products while in the shop, and sourcing of stock and resources to provide the best service and quality for the customers. This would mean contacting suppliers and gaining new clients to supply the business. I sold the business in 2019 as an ongoing business.
