Experienced Account Director with a demonstrated and proven history of working within the printing industry for over 25 years…I have developed many skills over the years starting out as a screen printer in 1995, moving into Production, then managing pack and despatch before moving onto sales, which has been my main drive since 2007.I have gained a vast knowledge including POS, card board engineer, variable data, outdoor POS, branch visibility, installations, Business development, budgeting as well as marketing.Listening to clients, taking briefs, relaying the briefs back to the team, advising on specifications of materials or alternative ways of manufacturing print and working to specific targeted client budgets, this would be executed on campaign work to one off bespoke projects to try and achieve the main goal to fulfil the clients expectations.I joined SMP back in 2009 which was a big step and carried its own obstacles such as location, as I reside in Newcastle and SMP in London. With my skill set I have taken this in my stride and I have demonstrated year after year that I can meet any target or task set for me, even over achieving on many occasions in my 11 years at SMP.I have also gained skills in Print Management, operations Management, Sales, production management, and Retail which I use daily.I am a Strong sales professional who can work in any environment and at any level of engagement from dealing direct with company MD’s, AD’s or shop floor level.In 2019 I was honoured to have a won a Gold Popai award for SMP. The project was part of a Christmas campaign and the item itself was for a large retailer and very high profile. My self and the team worked very hard with my client to create a very high profile item but also staying with the clients budget and receiving the Gold Popai award was a great achievement for us all.
