Combined with SUPERVALU, UNFI is the largest publicly-traded grocery distributor in America with expected annual sales of over $28 billion.Job Duties include but not limited to: -Oversees full lifecycle recruitment and placement activities for exempt and non-exempt hires at multiple distribution centers.-Responds to persons inquiring about employment via phone, email, and traditional correspondence.-Establishes recruiting sources with outside agencies, colleges, technical schools, etc. as needed to fill positions in multiple distribution centers.-Partners closely with distribution center HR teams and hiring managers to fill open positions.-Delivers a high level of customer service to both internal and external hiring managers and candidates.-Posts positions both internally and externally following company practices and policies.-Interfaces with all levels of leadership throughout the company regarding hiring needs or any other employment-related activities.-Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as needed.-Tracks distribution center staffing levels and helps to develop a proactive staffing plan and strategy for each location.

Provide all HR aspect for Clients in Thurston County. Providing quality interviews, reference checks and pre-screening for potential candidates for clients in our area. Exceed company standards with proper documenting and compliance procedures. Work as a SHRM board member to connect and educate HR professionals in Thurston County. Project management, event coordination, business developing, client relations management, AR/AP, payroll processing.

Providing excellent member service over the phone. Deposit, withdraw and move money electronically over the phone. Communicate effectively between departments over the phone, in person, or via E-Mail. Providing assistance to other team members as needed. Training new hires and assisting with the onboarding process. Participating in promotions and changes within the credit union and providing the members with the information and education they need to provide low effort and excellent member service.

providing excellent customer service, cooking, prepping, cleaning and record keeping; Placing orders with company approved vendors, maintaining the stock on hand and ensuring all shelves are full and stock is readily available to the customer at all times; clerical duties to include: filing, faxing and emailing to other department managers and company vendors; Managing and enforcing the practice of safe food handling for the Deli and its staff to maintain a healthy and efficient work environment; monitor adequate staffing levels; assist in the Human Resources department to include: filing, interviewing, record keeping and assisting to basic office needs; Participate in Ending-Period inventories. Provide training in continued adult education for employees.

Maintaining corporate standards in preparation and presentation of meals; managing the kitchen and its staff to maintain a healthy and efficient work environment; record keeping;preparing menus and placing orders for all food and non-food with company-approved vendors; establishing menu items from approved recipes in accordance with company policies and procedures; assisting with special events in Dietary, Marketing, Activities and Nursing Departments; knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper storage and handling procedures Enforce the company’s’ dress code; ensuring all work surfaces and utensils are cleaned and sanitized before each use and throughout the day; Participate in Ending-Period inventories.
