Deputy Director and Director, Naval Academy Sailing, US Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD, 2005 – 2009.• Directed one of the largest programs at the US Naval Academy that was responsible for developing a wide array of professional skills in 1,700+ midshipmen annually. Managed 40 personnel in planning and executing two sail training programs, three competitive racing teams, and performing maintenance on over 250 boats. Director 2008-2009; Deputy Director 2005-2008.

• Led project teams on Iceland Defense Force joint staff in determining optimum US Navy and Air Force types and quantities of forces at the US military base in Iceland. PM from 2004-2005; Deputy PM 2002-2004. • Developed analysis and proposals for an Inter-Agency Project Team with representatives from the Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, State Department, and European Command.

• Led 20-23 person teams that deployed on warships with the Seahawk helicopter. Led and directed all pre-deployment preparations: completed major maintenance inspections on helicopter and support equipment, arranged for completion of 30+ training courses, supervised the inventory and pack-up of 1,000+ spare parts worth over $10M. • Led programs for safety, quality control and aircraft material condition. Directed and managed maintenance efforts and conducted inspections. Directed and supervised maintenance on all aircraft systems. • Supervised and directed logistics support. • Built a highly motivated team that exceeded the established operational, maintenance, and safety goals.
