A Partner Technical Specialist plays a critical role to assess, enable and build IBM partner's technical capability to support pre-sales and customer engagement. He/She owns the technical agenda between partner and IBM, as applicable provides broad expertise across technology portfolio to the assigned partners (a subset can be focused on growth tech e.g., hybrid cloud), coordinates IBM technical experts to identify, design, and implement client centric solutions, facilitates technical coordination and integration between IBM and partner technical teams. He/She works to incorporate IBM tech in partner reference architectures, works closely with Partner Sellers to manage relationship and - along with the Partner Seller - is responsible to ensure partner revenue targets are met.
