    Servicing: Carried out 100, 500 and 1000hour services on a range of 30t – 1200t cranes. Including full inspection tests of all safe load indicating systems (SLI). This involved a five-day hand over of the product, constantly working with the operators and service personnel. To ensure they fully understand the operating procedures, capabilities and service techniques to ensure minimum breakdowns and down time.FAULT FINDING: I Used laptops and technical drawings to find hydraulic (both open and closed loop) faults, but also on a range of electrical systems from SLI systems to lighting and can bus faults.Field Service: I worked in remote locations and at various company depots. I worked independently and managed various teams supplied to me by the customer, to ensure the product was repaired quickly and efficiently. During this process I would often liaise with the owner or owners of the company, giving me the opportunity to discuss the product on both a technical and marketing levels.

My main tasks involved the building of all hydraulic circuits, open and closed systems. The construction of all the major components in the crane for example gearboxes, slewing rings, winches, cabin, oil coolers and also the smaller parts such as access ladders and platforms.
