Responsible for Hillthorn Warehouse Operations & UK Transport Dept.

I was seconded to our Transport Department back in the UK, working on cost reduction, cubic capacity of vehicles and route efficiencies. Prior to this I spent a year away in St Petersburg Russia working on a warehousing contract for NMGR, looking at all aspects of the warehouse function, training and system implementation. I have also completed two lengthy tours with CTT in Huddersfield looking at Kanban implementation, production, BA&A and Inventory controls.

As Contract Manager i looked after 100 colleagues. I was responsible for outbound deliveries to my clients customer NMUK. I also managed the Inspection and Rework Department and had a DTL (direct to line) operation on the customers site.

Driver and vehicle planning for 60 drivers over two depots. Also part of a three man team which transitioned into another warehouse facility setting up Transport, warehouse, training, loss control etc
