Manage Steer by Wire customer demo builds as part Nexteer's Autonomous Steering and Safety group.

My responsibilities include managing a student’s daily objectives. This includes the creation of yearly goals, and monitoring progress of those goals. Responsibilities also include creating and updating engineering test specifications using customer and Nexteer requirements. Negotiate, monitor, and report results of validation test plans. I Create teardown and inspection procedures for the test lab, specific to customer programs. I am experienced with all three EPS products produced by Nexteer: Column EPS(CEPS), single pinion EPS(SPEPS), Rack EPS(REPS). I also help to train any new system validation engineers with Nexteer validation procedures. I teach summer interns, new, and international employees about the basics of all Nexteer EPS products using a hands-on teardown class.

My responsibilities included being the HPS product engineering representative at Delphi Steering’s prototype center. I helped define the requirements for building all prototype hydraulic steering gears, manual steering gears and tie rods. I facilitated all tech reviews related to these products. During the building of the systems, I resolved any problems that arose. I was also responsible to inspect and approve these products before delivery to the customer.

I was part of the HPS product engineering development group. I was responsible to develop pressure transducers which were used for closed loop control in advance hydraulic steering systems (Magnasteer Torque Overlay). I worked on analyzing competitor’s products. I was also responsible for training and supervising a technician who operated the HPS group’s development test stand.

My responsibilities included managing the GMX 222/272 platform rack and pinion steering system. This included using the Delphi change process to make any necessary modifications to the product. I worked with the customer to resolve any problems, and supported the manufacturing plant warranty return reviews.

My responsibilities included developing and programming a test stand used for function testing integral gears and rack & pinion gears. My responsibilities also included setting-up and monitoring special tests for integral and rack and pinion steering gears. LabVIEW software was used to control and monitor the tests. I also, communicated with the appropriate product engineer when problems occur.

My responsibilities included setting-up and monitoring tests for integral and rack and pinion steering gears. The tests were run on servo driven test stands, which were controlled used LabVIEW software. I communicated with the product engineers through all stages of testing, and wrote reports upon test conclusion.

My responsibilities included monitoring tests for the entire validation lab, and communicating with daytime technicians when issues occurred.
