Also the British Senior National Representative, representing UK MOD within the HQ, ensuring UK contribution to this NATO HQ followed UK policy, and oversight of national support for UK staff and their families. Awarded the Commander’s Commendation in 2013.

Responsible for a catalogue of 18,500 items managed by a team of 96 staff, and spending £90M in a typical year, highlights included the introduction of the Multi-Terrain Pattern camouflage, the first change for British forces in 40 years, and the Pelvic Protection System, both earning Chief of Defence Materiel Team Commendations.

Managed portfolio of twelve C4I and ISTAR projects, including Fire Control BISA, Joint Effects Tactical Targeting System (Cat A), COBRA and MAMBA radars, and ASCA international interface. Brought the equipment support team from the Defence Logistics Organisation into DE&S. Delivered thee Urgent Operational Requirements for Iraq and Afghanistan, including the Lightweight Counter-Mortar Radar.
