I am an archaeologist, historian, and PhD researcher working toward obtaining my Doctorate in Art History at the University of Toronto. My research focuses on Plural Identity, Cultural Identity Development, and Intercultural Exchange in the Ancient Mediterranean, specifically during the Roman Republic and from an Archaeological point of investigation.I have obtained a Master's Degree in Classical Archaeolology from La Sapienza Universita di Roma, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Ancient History & Archaeology and the History of Art & Architecture from Trinity College Dublin. I have also worked as a professional field archaeologist for three years in both research and commercial archaeology.During this time I have worked on a number of large-scale Archaeological excavations both in Ireland and abroad including large ring-forts, burial grounds, Roman settlement sites, nymphaeums & urban environments, alongside a variety of pre & early Christian sites. I also have extensive archiving, academic and post-excavation experience, having worked for the National Monuments Service of Ireland dealing with World Heritage and Underwater Archaeological sites. Along with an additional three years teaching and tutorship experience. I have B1 Level proficiency in multiple languages, extensive experience with AutoCAD and Cartographic Analysis, and I am experienced in working with both GPS & GIS systems.
