• Company Sergeant Major of a CENTCOM and EUCOM oriented Special Forces Company, responsible for the training, planning, advising, support and leadership of 87 Special Forces operators conducting combat operations in the Afghanistan, and Pakistan AORs during Operation Enduring Freedom. • Company First Sergeant of a 120 man Special Forces Headquarters Company responsible for the planning and implementation and execution of a new 4th Battalion for the 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, NC• As an ODA Team Sergeant led combat missions in support of the tactical and operational objectives of the Theater Commander in Afghanistan, culminating in a nomination for the Distinguished Service Cross and was awarded the Silver Star Medal for Valor personally by Vice President Dick Cheney. • As an ODA Senior Weapons Sergeant trained, mentored, and led Afghan National Army soldiers in basic to advanced light infantry tactics. • Coordinated Department of State operations with US Embassy’s in West Africa while executing Joint Combined Exercise Training, and African Crises Relief Initiative in support of United States Government Partnered initiatives. • Trained squad through battalion sized elements in basic to advanced infantry tactics, Troop Leading Procedures, and Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) in support of Security Force Assistance (SFA)/ Security Assistance (SA) operations in various countries within the CENTCOM and AFRICOM AOR. • Planned and executed Joint Task Force Six counter-drug and anti-terrorist operations in support of the security of the southern borders of the Continental United States. • Conducted Joint Commission Observer operations during hostilities in Bosnia Herzegovina in support of United Nations operations in the Balkans. • As a Senior Weapons Sergeant instructed light weapons training at the Special Warfare Center preparing new students for transition to operational Special Forces Teams.
