In co-ordination with the service center manager, manage the MRO pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical stores and procurement operation for Eli Lilly on site at Kinsale, Cork, covering all aspects of site maintenance and operational requirements. Responsibilities include managing the purchasing and stores team on site in conjunction with the SCM and coordinating the compiling and completing the weekly MRP report, delegating duties and generating purchase orders as and when required.Develop relationships with suppliers as well as complete regular supplier analysis, review spend and analyze for cost saving initiatives and explore new avenues in the supply chain.Co-ordinate with projects team on site for on-going projects where we can assist and offer alternatives and offer significant costs savings.Work in close conjunction with the customers planning team for all ongoing maintenance projects on site and source all ad-hoc requirements, offer solutions and minimize operational downtime. Responsible for maintaining a full oversight of stores stock levels and anticipated requirements & delegate daily stores management tasks.Manage the on site team in the daily procurement and stores functions.Identify cost saving opportunities within the customers supply chain and participate in company wide reporting procedures each month for active reduction in site costs.Maintaining expediting systems to ensure complete material control, inspection and receipt of spares.Work with data team for creation and validation of new spares to site inventory system, and correct and update as required.Managing inventory control & stock evaluation and maintain all project procurement files and reports Responsible for all site logistics for spares overhauls and repairs and co-ordinate with vendors Regular view and control of finance systems and invoicing to maintain strong vendor / client relationships.Continuing with established duties since initial procurement role.
