Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia And Singapore

I had the role of Design Director/Senior Architect on the design development of three stations on the new Kuala Lumpur Metro system. Originally, my role was to produce designs for the entrances but this quickly expanded to the refinement of the interiors also. I was in charge of a team of around 20-25 architects, technicians and other consultants in the production of these designs and oversaw production information up to the completion of the DD stage. I was also the principal liason which gave me the responsibility of presenting proposals publicly to the client and other groups.

I was employed as a concept designer and illustrator on projects such as Cirque Du Soliel @ Peir 16, Virgin Group Spa and Resort, Absolute Vodka store and as concept designer on the feature movie, “Team America; World Police”. I produced a complete environmental project for Airshow USA in Newport News, VA. as well as a number of varied other retail, master planning and hospitality proposals.

On joining PPA I was assigned to the team working on the W.J. Clinton Presidential Libraryin Little Rock, AR. Initially operating as project designer on the new build portion of thecomplex I was also tasked with producing designs for refurbishing two existing structures; the Choctaw Rail station and The Rock Island Rail Bridge.

During my internship, I was a member of the design team that won the competitions for the new Hungerford Footbridge in central London and the Royal Victoria Dock Bridge also in London. I was involved at all stages of the design competition through construction and handover on the RVD bridge.
