Responsibilities include working with Member Companies to better understand Federal and State DOT regulations and statutes, assist companies in having a better understanding of the FMCSA and CSA, answer or research questions relating to OSHA, EEOC, IFTA/IRP, pollution control compliance issues, CARB, etc. I also work with membership to help find resources as needed, such as Legal Assistance to review company policies or issues, Safety & Compliance Companies to help with maintaining compliance with regulations, company policy issues, training resources. Attend and contribute to various committees as needed, and also any special functions or requests that the MTA deems necessary.
