What once was a long-time hobby (that was rapidly getting out of control) led to a significant career change. Having spent the majority of my professional career as a finance and operations executive for healthcare IT companies, when it was time for a new position, I was challenged by my family to prove to them that running a small private microbrewery wasn't an option. The result of that work has led to a 20 month journey resulting in a small home brewery that is just about to start commercial production. It's nice to be able to apply all of my finance, operations and original love of microbiology to a lifestyle company that I am truly passionate about: Brewing British style ales and beers.

Trans World Health Services (TWHS) is a Health Care IT company. We increase access to appropriate patient care.TWHS works with safety-net providers to increase access to appropriate patient care. We do this by seeking out administrative and operational obstacles that prevent the smooth delivery of patient care and use our proprietary advanced technical solutions to streamline, manage, continually monitor and direct actions to help safety-net providers achieve their targets and goals. The ChicoProject is a small business incubation management consulting practice based in California which has assisted over 50 small companies to grow, expand and employ new personnel. It is closely allied to the local Economic Development Corporations.

The Oak Group provides medical intelligence in the form of criteria to ensure most appropriate patient placement to receive the right treatment at the right time and in the right setting. The data created from the use of the criteria and software is vital in lean engineering and creating efficient healthcare provision. The solutions is used by both care providers and care funding organizations.

Health Care Case Management Software Company. Grew the company from a small seed capital restart through Venture Capital round and took the company public in 2000. In first year of public trading coordinated the acquisition of three other businesses including due diligence and structuring. The company grew from a handful of people to approximately 150 staff.
