Represent the needs and requirements of operational and other stakeholders in the successful delivery of fit for purpose Capital Investment Projects which meet the Water Corporation’s operational, financial, environmental and social requirements.• Project Management – Ensure Project constructed asset that meet operational stakeholders and fit for purpose capital investment.• Stakeholder Engagement - Undertake the early identification and resolution of key stakeholder issues relating to project delivery and design.• Project Requirements - Ensure that all stakeholders are identified to the project team, together with their requirements.• Whole of Business - Ensure that business interests are considered in the project environment during the life of the project from activation to close-out.• Asset Creation Process - Ensure defined requirements regarding safety, environment, reliability, operability and maintainability are fully considered throughout.• Accept Assets – Ensure assets are constructed and meet all requirements prior to entering into service.• Monitoring and Assessing of capital investment triggers.

Manage the safe and cost-effective maintenance of all existing and new buildings, associated infrastructure and structures at stations and owned/leased premises and on the reserve, to a satisfactory and safe standard, including:• Strategic Planning – develop and improve the management framework, including risk assessment, operating practices and emergency procedures; provide engineering expertise across the PTA generally and in relation to management and operation of assets to inform the PTA’s strategic planning.• Asset Management – develop strategic asset management process of all civil and structural assets to principles of ISO55001; organise necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure these structures are maintained to optimise performance, compliance and cost effectiveness; continually investigate areas for cost saving.• Team Leadership – manage a team, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal and management, manage maintenance contractors and PTA staff involved in civil, electrical and mechanical maintenance and projects.• Maintenance Planning – develop asset management plans for program and schedule annual maintenance programs in accordance with annual operating and capital budgets.• Multi-Disciplinary Team Leadership – manage contracts, in a range of disciplines including construction, fire systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fencing, Lifts, escalators and building maintenance.• Audits – conduct annual audits of assets and infrastructure to Australian Standards and government regulations and by-laws and ensure inspection findings are documented.• Financial Management – create and monitor annual overall and individual project repair and maintenance budgets totalling $58 million.• Key Stakeholder Engagement – • Contract Management/Negotiation – • Tenders – Prepare tenders, assess bids and award.• Compliance/Risk Management – • OHS

Manage the delivery and implementation of new equipment and services for the PTA’s systems including Train Control Network, Overhead Power Network, Radio Systems and Station Alarms Network, including: Systems Enhancement – manage the delivery and implementation of new equipment and services consistent with existing control systems contracts; develop and implement effective strategies to upgrade vital systems, products and services. Project Management – lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams of up to 28 persons; investigate complex issues and oversee the development and implementation of practical and innovative solutions and enhancements. Service Delivery Management – monitor and audit the overall delivery of services by contractors; ensure Control Event Rate diagrams, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) are carried out to the PTA’s standards; manage contracts and conduct annual audits. Financial Management – prepare capex and maintenance budgets (up to $3 million pa) and regular variance statements; manage operating and capital budget allocations.  Reporting – prepare regular progress reports on short and long range plans. Compliance – lead by example to ensure compliance with OH&S legislation and information security policies and procedures; ensure confidentiality and accurate usage of information holdings/systems. Programming SCADA - systems for Train Control, Station Control, Tunnel Control, Fire Control, Overhead Power (24000 Volt) Control, Radio System  Programming PLC’s – Programming Schneider PLC’s - M340, Compact and momentum, GE Fanuc, Kingfisher RTU, Microlock PLC. Technical Adviser – Advise communications and electrical technicians in the field to assist in diagnosis of SCADA, Communications and Electrical systems.
