I have written for various applications, such as freelance reporting, music journalism, scriptwriting, dialogue, technical writing, creative writing, essays, articles, and comedy writing.

I have filmed various kinds of video content for a range of clients: local bands, small businesses, and Versefest: Ottawa’s International Poetry Festival. The type of content ranged from music videos to social media content to commercials to live concerts and events to streaming to recording a national leadership convention.

Angry Neighbour Pictures was a video collective that produced short films and music videos.

I edited technical manuals on microwave radio systems for clarity and errors, wrote case studies for the DragonWave marketing department, and helped establish an internal company wiki.

Washed dishes quickly and thoroughly, keeping the dish pit spotless and ensured the dishwasher ran smoothly. At the end of each event I mopped the venue floor, took out the garbage, and made sure the dish pit was presentable for the following day.

Looked after the vendors, stocked their ice cream carts as they ran sold out of product, set up and took down vendor sites, counted and handled cash, and taught new vendors the job.

I sold ice cream, handled relatively large sums of cash, and kept track of the float and supply of the cart.

I baked numerous types of bread, washed dishes, cleaned my work station, occasionally cooked with the chef, and watched over the shop each night while bread was baking. At catering events my responsibilities were to prepare food, set up buffet lines, serve guests, and organize seating.

My main duties were stacking hay in the barn, sweeping the barn floor, and mowing the lawn.

I worked as a student painter, painting both interior and exterior spaces.
