The focus of my work for the last 30-years has been to make the world a better place, through non-profit leadership, business consulting and political campaigning. I am a communication, strategy, and political organizing professional with extensive experience in the non-profit, business and government sectors. Over the last thirty years, I've collaborated on or led more than 100 public interest campaigns, contributed to the conservation of more than 1,000,000 hectares of wildland, helped pass important environmental legislation and strengthen the long-term health of countless non-profit organizations and businesses. Since 2019 I've managed five provincial and federal political campaigns, and have worked on twenty since 2000. With 15 books in print, and more than 120 magazine and newspaper articles to my name, I am a hard-working and prolific writer. My most recent book is Taking A Break from Saving the World: A Conservation Activist's Journey from Burnout to Balance; you can have a look at it here: https://rmbooks.com/book/taking-a-break-from-saving-the-world/. I enjoy public speaking, political campaigning and strategy, and have expertise in environment, energy, economic diversification, and public engagement and mobilization.
