 Responsible from end to end, manage all quality stuff in various BUs from new program to mass production to end of life. Products are e-reader/tablet (main customers are Microsoft and Amazon) mechanical plastics, Mg plating,painting and Al passivation, Mgc etc. NPI Program qualification schedule management, hard tooling qualification and sample approval. Ensure prototype sample and hard tooling sample deliver in time for testing, ensure process ready to support mass production. Set up FAI process, VOC of CTQ study, technique transfer, review the manufacture process with supplier, set up inspection instruction with supplier and on-site to check full feature base on drawing, spec, standard and other requirement from customer. Set up problem solving process, using 8D and 5C to analyze the root cause, reply with customer the effective corrective and preventive action within 5 working days. Set up supplier management process, set up and maintain supplier scorecard for monitoring supplier performance and help supplier continue improvement. Work with quality representative from internal business unit to implement activities on improve supplier cycle time and lean to get cost down. Work with cross function team to develop supplier, cost down, OTD improvement and etc. Lead and train team to achieve team goal and objective.

 The major responsibility is in charge of Huawei wireless cabinet FATP in Dongguan facility and wireless cabinet mechanical part supplier material quality (including plastics, sheet metal, die cast, stainless steel, accessories) while is the lead for anti-corrosion group in Huawei. Manage HUAWEI four wireless cabinet FATP subcontractor EMS factories –Foxconn, Flextronics, Huarong and Huahao quality performance to meet HUAWEI target. To monitor EMS factory wireless cabinet whole assembly production quality issue handling, quality data record and malfunction handling. Qualification the NPI project safe launch to EMS factory and attend the regular qualification and process audit with HUAWEI R&D, TQC, CEG team. Drive mechanical supplier identification and new mechanical supplier qualification with HUAWEI R&D, TQC and CEG team. Regular visiting and on site supplier factory, monitor the process to make sure corrective action implementation and continuous improvement. Communicate BOM, drawing, spec, schedule between R&D and supplier. Conduct QSA and QPA to the supplier factories and train the suppliers.

-Lead the mobile phone NPI projects (mechanical plastics) launch to the factory. Review and confirm the 2D&3D tooling layout then check the database from customer, and evaluate the feasibility of tooling fabrication and mass production, point out the cosmetic issue of tooling problems, then provide the improved proposal to customer with design review format.-Monitor the tooling fabrication schedule, and then attend the tool’s FOT in tooling maker site along with NPI tooling engineer. Evaluate shot weight, cycle time, yield rate and cosmetic issue of moulding process, and then provide build report to customer.-Follow and analyze the problems happened during the development, and then take the correct action to solve them in time. Discuss some critical issue or product structure issue with customer.-Also follow up secondary process- painting, pad printing, NCVM, plating and complete phone assembly & testing process. Had opportunity to worked at Flextronics Mexico factory where produce RIM blackberry smart phone in 2008.-Accompany customer visiting / Auditing Flextronics, monitor the process to improve the quality. Held the quality meeting with the internal and external, push process to improve the quality and issue the Corrective / Improvement Actions.

-The major responsibility is to handle the Dell Account, quality issue feedback from Dell, held the quality meet with the customer, push process to improve the quality and issue the Corrective / Improvement Actions. -Accompany Dell GCQM and GSQM visiting / Auditing Foxconn, Monitor the process to improve the quality. Assist SQE to audit the supplier and train the supplier. Be familiar with PPAP, PMT, and SOP etc.
