Home Modification Solutions is a not for profit organisation providing cost effective, high quality home modification and maintenance solutions.My role with Home Modification Solutions is to ensure the efficient and effective allocation of government funding to subsidised customers and to improve the range of services available to clients in the community.

At SCIA I managed a team across 2 sites engaged in placing people with a disability into employment, focusing on those with a spinal injury. This involves performance appraisals, coaching, financial reporting and management, HR - selection, recruitment of staff, performance monitoring and process improvement activities - both strategic and staff performance based, meeting government contract requirements, WHS, sales and marketing, branding to list a few.

Whilst employed with Mission Australia I undertook managerial roles at both a site and area level. These involved duties such as managing a team of up to 8 direct reports and 10 indirectly across 3 sites, performance appraisals, coaching, financial reporting and management, HR - selection, recruitment of staff, performance monitoring and process improvement activities - both strategic and staff performance based, meeting government contract requirements, WHS, sales and marketing, branding to list a few.The highlight of working with Mission Australia was the achievement of one of the sites under my management being the best performing site in Australia for the organisation and in the top 5 nationally as measured independently by Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations.

During this period I worked with SME's to identifiy, develop and implement change startegies aligned with company directions.This involved managing a small team across 2 concurrent projects working with clients in coaching, applying process improvement based on Agile methodologies and reporting to senior management on the progress achieved.

My key roles with TafeSA included coordinating and marketing courses run in Adelaide for the Primary Industries program of TafeSA, marketing and delivering traineeships across all South Australia as well as delivering course material at Flinders University for the Aquaculture program. This role required a high and effective level of stakeholder management across businesses, industry groups, students and staff which resulted in the effective running of all programs.
