I led a team that ensured the effective planning and scheduling of our establishment and forest maintenance budgets (circa €22m annually), resulting in the planting of in excess of 8,500 ha's and maintenance of approximately 32,000 ha's by our 25 Operational Foresters annually. I also lead interactions between our Procurement and Nurseries partners, ensure our contractor infrastructure was efficiently procured and that the in excess of 20m plants required to complete our planting and maintenance programmes was delivered to agreed delivery timelines

In my role as Commercial Analyst for Coillte Forest, I relentlessly pursued cost savings and efficiencies across our various operations, while ensuring we, as a division, were getting best value for money on all monies spent. Laois

I was responsible for the management of in excess of 8,000 ha of lands owned by Coillte. I was responsible for the sustainable planning and management of high impact operations across the Coillte EstateI worked with a team of harvesting, engineering and establishment managers to ensure operations planned ran efficiently and smoothly from both a budgetary, planning and operational perspective

Leinster

I was responsible for sourcing new private forestry business for Coillte Forest (planting and harvesting) across the Leinster region. Annually I sources in excess of 500 ha's of new planting and the harvesting of in excess of 20k m3 of private timber.

Scotland

As the Business Manager for Greenwood Trees I was responsible for all of the Operational, Sales, IT, Finance and HR functions of the organisation. Iled the business to ensure I was empowering and developing my team to ensure we exceeded our monthly and annual sales and revenue targets, ultimately leading to the sustained growth of the businessMy team ensured that weekly imports of material from Ireland were delivered, processed, sorted and sold to our customers across the UK. I led the team in Greenwood Trees to ensure we successfully completed Her Majesty Revenue and Customs (HMRC), British Forestry Commission (BFC), Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and Internal Business Audits throughout the year

Galway

Working for this dynamic and customer focused company I was initially tasked to develop the Woodland GIS system WoodMaps. Taking paper based maps and transfering them to woodlands Gis based WoodMaps Mapping System, I developed a system that created business efficiency and provided information to operational foresters working in various locations in the organisation. I subsequently was responsibly managing forests for various clients in the Woodland portfolio. This involved the management of high impact forestry operations to ensure compliance with the highest health and safety, environmental & silvicultural standards
