Provision/review of advice in the assessment of reported defects in terms of equipment and personnel safety, capability casualty modes, effect upon immediate and future operations, contingency plans and alternate solutions; 3. Review and investigate as required technical documentation from Fleet units and other organisations, as directed, in the form of Technical Investigations, Departmental Management Audits and Material Condition Assessment Audits; 4.
