Responsible for opening/closing the bar, having sole responsibility for running the bar on a daily basis, dealing with customers ensuring that they were happy and satisfied with service. It was my duty to cash up all the tills at the end of the night and prepare floats for the next morning. I ensured that all cash and credit card receipts were accounted for and logged any differences in the reconciliation book.

Responsible for taking food and drink orders, ensuring customers were satisfied with the service and food. I also had the responsibility of opening and closing the restaurant. I was in charge of ordering stock for the bar each week and liaising with suppliers to ensure the stock was delivered in a timely manner. I helped management to train new staff members and ensure all staff were kept up to date with various trainings.

Responsible for running of a busy carvery lunch, and an extensive A La Carte menu in the evening. As part of my duties I had to deal with money, cash up tills, and ensure that the customers were happy.

Responsible for the opening/closing of the bar. I would take in and check any deliveries that were made. If needed, I would change the kegs and restock the bar when it was appropriate. I have also been responsible for bar tabs and making sure the customers are looked after. It was my responsibility when on duty to get the bar ready for the lunchtime, pre-theatre, and evening trade. I have an extensive knowledge of wines/beers and cocktails.

Responsible for greeting the customers after they were seated and making sure they felt welcome. I would then tell them the different dishes that were on the menu (i.e. Soup of the day and Catch of the day). I would then proceed to taking the food order. Once prepared, I would take the food to the customers.
