I started in Karate and then Tae Kwon Do in Canada, then after moving to the UK in 1980, I joined the local Wado Ryu club in 1981. Over the years I have trained in Self Defence, contact training and progressed to 3rd Dan in Wado Ryu Karate.

I have worked in many roles in Northamptonshire police, such as a general duties office, an emergency fast response officer, a public order and public order van driver, a method of entry officer and completed my last three years as an investigations officer, dealing with live prisoners in custody and some outside via voluntary arrangements. I retired form the force on 12/04/2018.

After arriving in the UK from Canada in 1980, I could not find any clothes in the stores that I liked, so I began to design and make the clothing that I wanted to wear. I then designed and made items for my family and friends and later decided to start Arrow Designs as a business, with the aid of a young persons Government scheme.During my time in the business, I undertook the design, manufacture and sale of fashion/designer clothing for all ages, for both males and females. I also undertook one off Designs for individuals and several music groups/bands.The garments I produced were in various materials from cotton, silks, satins, jersey, denim and leather, along with some upholsteries. Clothing design and creation is my first love as a business and my plans are to restart this business and as such, I am looking to get some links with like minded professionals in the clothing industry for networking and possibly for supplies.
