Industrial and manufacturing Business Group Leader

-Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes of work. Prepare and transmit bid packages and invitations to bid. Receive and analyze received bids. Negotiate and award subcontracts and purchase orders. Prepare and maintain purchase control log and other budget tracking tools.-Participate in design review meetings and review and monitor design with particular attention to scope, cost changes and constructability. Responsible for applying for, tracking and expediting project permits.-Prepare detailed estimates and cost codes for initial cost control reporting and updates labor cost reports and summary cost reports. Work with accounting to maintain subcontractor and vendor requirements for payment processing.-Work with project team to prepare and update progress schedules including short term interval schedules. Assist in planning construction operations and sequences.-Interaction with client including correspondence, periodic reports, change order requests, submittal of pay requisitions, and response to client inquiries and directives.-Check, approve and transmit submittals; maintain submittal control log; prepare and manage requests for information and maintain RFI log.-Subcontractor coordination, safety and quality management, and job site reporting and controls.-On site project support.-Assist in preparation of project close-out requirements including unit cost history, operations and maintenance manuals, punch list management and agency inspections.
