I am a senior finance executive with 20 years’ experience in commercial and financial functions working across a broad range of industries including energy, public and private assets and infrastructure, social procurement, investment management, technology, sports management, and marine engineering. A results oriented and accomplished leader with a proven track record in financial leadership, strategic planning, and execution, my impressive leadership has driven financial performance and enhanced operational efficiencies in some of the world’s largest brands in Australia and internationally.Since 2014, in my role leading a finance function for ASX listed organisation Ventia, my responsibilities include delivering successful commercial outcomes, influencing board support for innovation and efficiencies, creating robust reporting processes, and ensuring data-driven decision making, whilst overseeing a successful teams.As an expert leading large teams and complex financial functions in challenging environments, some of my recent achievements include leading the finance function team (35 FTE) in Australia, PNG and Nauru and managed all financial controls, reporting, budgets/forecasts, strategic plans for the Immigration contracts worth $2.1bn. Throughout this time I developed reporting dashboards for Ventia key metrics visible across 15,000 employees, supported the generation of $20m in revenue for the global Coates business, and at Origin Energy initiated benefits-realisation for major capital investments ($50m per annum) and leading the financial systems roadmap.I am a contemporary and collaborative leader with an adaptive and thoughtful leadership style.
