Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the team that manages all of the business and systems operations for our large scale Vineyard and Grape Purchasing Departments. My team covers AP, Payroll, Data Management, System Management, Contracting, and Supply planning for the Coastal arm of EJ Gallo Winery. I also continue to leverage my diverse background and technical skill set to drive effciencies internal the team and across the entire organization.

In this role I lead the both the Viticulture and Coastal Data teams, along with working our corporate IT teams to implement new systems and technology, facilitate the redevelopment planning process, and work with the operations teams to improve vineyard operations through smarter use of technology. Team Information -The viticulture team consists of a Viticulture Manager, 1 Senior Viticulturist, and 6 Regional Viticulturists. This team handles all of the Pest and Disease Scouting, Yield Estimation, PCA Work, and design of redevelopment work. - Data and Payroll Team Consists of 1 Analyst and 2 Data Technicians. This team handles ~2200 Invoices per year and processes 30mm, both in payment and entry into a full activity based costing system. Additionally we coordinate/enter the payroll for ~40 employees and provide data entry and reporting for all 9000 Coastal Acres

Managed the operations of ~1800 acres of Russian River Valley and Sonoma Valley Vineyards. This comprised >200 blocks, which delivered to 5+ wineries, and 6 different internal winemakers. While doing this I also maintained my previous duties and payroll and billing manager for the entire 9000 acres of Coastal Vineyards.

Worked directly with the Chardonnay Winemaker to make 8000+ tons of premium-luxury tier chardonnays from coastal regions all over the state. Primary duties included standard Enologist/Assistant winemaker duties e.g Writing work orders, making blends, performing trials, and interpreting lab reports. Additional special projects included writing the Tasting Database used to store and document tastings with Senior Leadership, Subject Matter Expert on the Development team for our internal WO / Winemaking System, and creation of a Fermentation Tracking and WO generation database to increase efficiency during harvest.
