I am a specialist employment lawyer with two decades’ practising experience across in-house and firm environments, including more than three years as Supervising Counsel of Telstra’s Human Resources Legal Group. I also spent two years as a Senior Associate in the Workplace Relations group at Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks, a predecessor of Allens Linklaters. Both in-house and advising blue chip clients in private practice, I have dealt with the full range of employment law matters, including: enterprise bargaining and industrial issues; corporate restructuring, outsourcing, divestments and acquisitions; executive issues; restraints of trade; sensitive workplace investigations and whistleblower complaints; unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination and bullying claims. I have consistently demonstrated a strong commercial orientation, achieving successful outcomes in litigation and the smooth resolution of numerous sensitive matters without litigation or adverse publicity.From 2016 to 2018 inclusive I was recognised in Doyle’s Guide as one of Australia’s leading in-house employment lawyers. From 2019 I have been leading RMIT’s workplace relations function in their Human Resources team.I pride myself on being a supportive, accessible leader who drives a values-based team ethos.
