Whilst in this position I have been involved in various projects installing hardware and software and building images for rooms as well as day-to day tasks like resolving email and printer faults. I have been through two mergers between colleges which on both occasions has involved the combining of two big networks, this has meant a lot of work and new challenges but I feel I have coped with both very well. I assisted staff and students throughout the college campus with computer-related problems and queries. I also spent one week every six on the helpdesk s first point of call for staff providing remote assistance and escalating and allocating faults for technicians at other centres.
