My role is to review and reconcile past management accounting information with the General Ledger and to review the standard costing system for accuracy and variance allocation in relation to a recent high value manufacturing contract. I am also responsible for preparing and supporting the commercial bid process with financial modelling and assisting with the preparation of comprehensive business / financial forecasts, reports, and associated analysis. In addition, the business partnering role is focusing on management reporting and dealing with suppliers.

Responsibilities include managing accounting systems and processes in order to meet the relevant statutory, regulatory and group requirements. Managing individuals, utilising staff resources as appropriate, identifying and resolving issues on a day to day basis. Assisting in the development of new accounting and financial control and management processes, systems or procedures to meet the changing requirements of the customer.

Structured Asset Finance account and projects team.Responsible for production of financial statements, monthly and quarterly results analysis for senior directors, regulatory returns, VAT returns, project accounting, budgeting and forecasting, reconciliations and variance analysis, MI and data analysis relating to the large value leasing portfolio.

Working in the Portfolio Management team supporting Finance Business Partners. Responsibilities included supporting strategic initiatives, assisting change management projects, finance support for sales, HR and IT departments, treasury analysis reporting to the company funding committee, reconciliation and variance analysis of company funding.
