I served as the Install Team Lead for the Air National Guard Base Area Network Modernization Project. I was responsible for validating and implementing a new network design at all of the ANG bases in North America and Puerto Rico utilizing 3 on-site install leads with 14 network engineers.I provided remote and on-site technical support for other AGS engineers and customers for our telecommunication systems.

I was responsible for validating and implementing a new network design at all of the ANG bases in North America and Puerto Rico.I developed and taught classes on Avaya's telecommunications equipment to Avaya engineers, Partners and Customers in the USA, Europe and Asia.I provided remote and on-site technical support for other AGS engineers and customers for our telecommunication systems.

Continued to support our heritage Nortel customers via on-site support for CS2100 (DMS-100) and AS 5200 multimedia telecommunication systems.After the acquisition of Nortel, I was involved with developing classes and teaching the heritage Avaya engineers how to support the heritage Nortel Ethernet data equipment. I taught these classes in over 30 different cities across the US.

As a Resident Engineer, I represented Nortel as an on-site resource for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Commonwealth Office of Technology to support their CS2100, CS1000, and BCM voice systems. After completing the KY contract, I worked simultaneously for three groups at Avaya:Rapid Response Team, Assisted Operate Team, and Resident Engineer Team.Rapid Response: I was on call to provide the highest level of hand's on support for any solution across the United States. This involved same-day travel to anywhere in the US to immediately fix or facilitate resolution for any problems found.Assisted Operate: This team provides engineers to customers who may be new to a product and need a mentor on-site for a few days or weeks to step them through ongoing support and maintenance of a product.Resident Engineer: This involved varied length of contracts by customers for onsite support often during major installs or upgrades. Some of my major projects during this time include: Ethernet Switch and Wireless data network install at the new CitiField Stadium for Mets Baseball, CS2100 upgrade and geographic separation for a large HR firm in Chicago, and the data network install at the new Volkswagen plant in TN.
